A City Hall elopement is simple, intimate and timeless. Marble halls and grand arches give your photos an elegant, classic feel, while the day stays focused on what matters: the two of you and your promise.
What Does an Elopement at City Hall Look Like?
- Arrive together. Meet me 10-15 minutes before your appointment at the entrance of the Marriage Bureau (141 Worth St). You, your witness and I go through security together, which keeps everything smooth.
- Check in. Show your ID and appointment details, and you'll receive a queue number.
- Complete the paperwork. When your number is called, go to the window, fill out and sign the forms, and pay for the ceremony.
- Wait for your ceremony. We wait together in the waiting area until you're called. I'll photograph these moments too.
- Say your vows. The ceremony is quick but meaningful: it takes 2-3 minutes and ends with your marriage certificate.
- Portraits around the city. After the ceremony, we head out for your couple portraits.
- The whole process at City Hall takes about 40 minutes.

Where do we meet for the City Hall ceremony?
We meet 10–15 minutes before your appointment at the entrance of the Marriage Bureau (141 Worth St). Please arrive together with your witness, so we can go through security as a group.
Can you be our witness?
Yes, a free witness is included with every elopement package. If you're planning a private ceremony, I'd be honored to sign your marriage certificate and photograph the moment too.
How do I book?
A 30% retainer and a signed contract secure your date. City Hall appointments can be hard to get, so message me as soon as your time slot is confirmed.
What does the photo process look like inside the Marriage Bureau?
After security, you check in and get a queue number. I photograph the waiting moments, the paperwork and the ceremony itself, which takes 2–3 minutes. The whole process takes about 40 minutes. Afterward, we take portraits inside the marble halls and outside the building.
